It was February 4, 2012. The Hockomock Championships. It was bittersweet. After ten years of early morning and late evening practices and all day/weekend swim meets, this was likely the very last one for Jess … and for us. Not all of the schools she’s considering have a team, though she definitely wants to continue to swim for fitness. Between Lou and I, we captured several hundred photos of her resting with, warming up with, and cheering on her team, as well as action shots of her swimming her last events. The best ones are shared in the slide show below.
