There are a lot of things I’d like to do with my life. I’d like to learn how to play the piano, drums, guitar, and ukulele. I’d like to write a book or three. I’d like to share my thoughts and dreams every day in this blog. I’d like to lose twenty pounds and become a faster runner. I’d like to move closer to my family, or have them move closer to me. I’d like to spend more time being useful to those who could benefit from my help. I’d like to win the lottery and set up a fund to anonymously and randomly help people get the things that they need. I’d like to be a morning person and not be a procrastinator. I’d like to play tennis like a pro. I’d like to be a better domestic chores manager. The funny thing is that all of these things and more (with the possible exception of winning the lottery) are achievable given enough time, practice, dedication, and money to accomplish them. Since I can’t do them all, or even a fraction of them, I’ll focus instead on some of the things I know are achievable and work on the other items as time and priorities allow. Therefore, my goals (focus) this year are to:
A: Read 100 books.
B: Volunteer 300 hours.
C: Resolve the elbow pain I’ve been having for the last three years.
D: Exercise an average of one hour per day.
E. Walk 2mm steps.
