An exciting announcement from our baby girl.:
“As of this morning, I have officially accepted a position with Newport Hotel Group for their LEAD Manager-in-Training program. Starting January 5th, I will be moving to one of NHG’s properties and beginning my training to become a hotel manager. Where I will be based initially has not yet been determined, but it could be anywhere from North Conway, New Hampshire to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I have also been given the opportunity to travel to all of their hotels around the country in order to get as much from this experience as possible.
This whole job-search thing has been a very long and stressful experience. There have been a lot of tears, sleepless nights, and infinite anxiety. Making this decision has been very difficult for me because leaving my friends and family behind was not something I was planning on having to do for a long time. The last two months have really given me insight on who I should keep around, and who has been toxic to my success. Shout out to Mia, Luis, Isabella, and Sam for dealing with me when I was at my absolute worst – and an even bigger shout out to Ginger and my father for supporting me through all of my decisions. Without you all none of this would have been possible.
There isn’t much time between now and when I move, and my schedule will more than likely be completely full for the next year. Since I am between jobs, I have all the time in the world and would like to spend it with my friends. So, please get in contact with me if you’d like to see me before I leave. Otherwise visiting me is always definitely an option!”
