New Orleans Trip Report – Day 4

This was our low-key day. Lou spent the morning taking care of emails. We then worked out for about an hour before sightseeing and checking out the French Market. It was so much more commercialized that our last trip. The view of the river was unimpressive except for the barge that looked too large to fit under the bridge. It made it, though.

The people here are passionate about their football (LSU and the Saints). Yesterday it was LSU v. Alabama and today the Saints played Tampa Bay. The streets of the French Quarter were literally a ghost town, but within 30 minutes of the end of the game they were crawling again with revelers.
