This is a picture of Harbin that Lou took from his hotel room at 5:00AM with his Blackberry. Its not quite as smoggy as Beijing, and is reportedly a very beautiful city. If you look closely at the picture you can see people swimming in the river. Lou is back in Beijing tonight. He spends the day tomorrow touring the Forbidden City with his Chief Engineer. Sunday begins a new round of meetings at the 33rd Symposium on Combustion. If all goes well, he’ll be home by 2:00PM on Wednesday.
