A beginner seamstress again

I’ve got a sewing fever! In fact, I like it so much that Lou is in the process of buying me a brand new one to replace the 50 year old machine I got as a hand-me-down from my mother-in-law. Our youngest daughter will take possession of her grandmother’s machine after my new one arrives. In the meantime, I haven’t got anything to practice mending on, and its going to take a little while to work up to creating something from scratch, so I came up with an idea I got based on an article my youngest shared earlier today. I’m going to volunteer my time to mend clothing that’s intended for second hand shops, and for friends who just don’t have the time to do their basic mending. If you’ve got a pile of clothes you’ve been meaning to fix so you can wear again, AND/OR a pile of clothes you’ve been meaning to take to Goodwill or the like, but they need mended first, please message me. I will gladly take them off your hands to mend and then donate, or mend and return. Keep in mind that I’m basically a beginner at this again, so my lines may not be perfect and I won’t be able to do the fancy stuff, but a piece of my heart will be sewn into each job.
