When is a cat not a cat?

When its a dog, of course! Meet our new “cat”. So called because she replaces our recently deceased cat, Cabo. My husband requested, and I acquiesced (for now), that we have no more cats. My request in return, and his acquiescence, was that I get a “lap” dog. After almost a year of researching breeds we narrowed it down to the mini Australian Shepard, and I recently narrowed it down even further to a toy Australian Shepherd. Last night I finally made a decision about which one I wanted and placed the payment. In two weeks our new baby will be coming home. She will be three months old at that time and tiny as can be. Both of her parents are 12″ and grandparents were both 10″. We will need to be careful with her until she grows bigger to ensure she doesn’t get carried away by one of the birds of prey which frequent our property. Meanwhile, we’ll try to not overwhelm you with photos of cuteness overload.
